LocalGov Drupal has been growing quickly in Britain and Ireland as a platform for Local Authorities: so far 44 participating councils, and 16 suppliers, with even more using it.
The session will introduce the innovative structure of the organisation that has enabled so many authorities and agencies to work together collaboratively.
It will also give an overview of some useful components you might want to reuse in your projects. For example, the automatically configuring Directories modules, or the implementations of the carefully researched UX patterns from the UK Government Design System. The session also introduces the most recent innovation: moving the microsites platform to use 'Group Sites'.
